We who love quality craft spirits and also care about the carbon footprint we leave behind, finally will have a brand to choose.

Until now, the production and transportation of quality bottled premium and craft spirits have almost been a competition in hitting high Co2 emission levels.

We identified this already back in 2011 and started a process to design a unique bottle that is beating all existing options in terms of Co2 efficiency while still giving a real premium look and feel. Since then we have finetuned the design and worked with the best craft-distillers to create a series of great tasting Aquavit, Vodka and Gin. All under the umbrella of GRO sustainable spirits.

Gro means a sprout springing into a flourishing plant, something we find well suited for a true handmade natural spirit from wheat, grain, herbs and spice, packaged in the most environmentally friendly bottle available.

Or as we say, GRO – The Pure Force of Nature!

Handcrafted and distilled in rural Sweden, using only natural ingredients and pure spring water, the tastes are sublime and reflect the long tradition of making these classic spirits.

The packaging however, is what really make GRO raise above the competition. Thanks to the innovative design and production method, the level of energy used for GRO is far lower than for competing brands.

Transportation is the big villain, requiring the lion part of the energy used to provide the market with quality spirits, and the first area we focused on in our aim to find a solution for our need.

But we wanted more and found a method where we can produce the bottles at the distillery, thus removing one whole segment of the distribution chain and saving the energy needed to transport empty bottles for filling, which everyone else has to do.
